There are three sections to getting scuba certified. Coursework, pool training and open water dive training. The PADI Open Water Referral course takes care of the first two. This allows students who prefer diving in warm tropical like destinations the option to finish up their dive certification dives in places like the Florida Keys (Big discount if you book with our Florida Keys Shop : )
To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver Referral course (or Junior Open Water Diver Referral course):
- You must be 10 years old or older.
- You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
- No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
Complete your knowledge development portion online using PADI’s interactive presentations, videos and readings. Learn the material and complete the knowledge review quizzes at your own pace for up to a year prior to your vacation. Once you arrive at Beulah Outdoors, you will learn and practice skills with us in the pool before completing your four open water check-out dives elsewhere.
